Today the team at The Perfect Vacation Source will be discussing some of the most exciting places to visit in the Cayman Islands with Aicube.
Aicube: Thank you so much for joining us today.
The Perfect Vacation Source: We appreciate the opportunity to talk about one of our favorite places–the Caymans.
Aicube: What do you consider to be the “must-do’s” when visiting the Cayman Islands?
The Perfect Vacation Source: Well, the first place that we would suggest visitors check out is “Stingray City.” It’s a wonderful place where non-divers can go to see stingrays.
Aicube: How does that work?
The Perfect Vacation Source: There is a shallow sandbar where stingrays like to congregate. A boat brings visitors out, and the stingrays are so close that visitors are within touching distance from them.
Aicube: What else would you recommend that first time visitors to the Cayman Islands do?
The Perfect Vacation Source: Well, another memorable place to visit is the Queen Elizabeth II and the Blue Iguana Recovery Program.
Aicube: Blue Iguanas? That sounds amazing. What else is at the site?
The Perfect Vacation Source: Aside from the Blue Iguanas, people can see orchids, tropical flowers and healing herbs. There are tours as well. It’s really a great place to visit.
Aicube: The snorkeling must be amazing in the Caymans. Is there a special place that you would suggest?
The Perfect Vacation Source: We heartily suggest that snorkelers visit the Kittiwake.
Aicube: What is Kittiwake?
The Perfect Vacation Source: It’s a former U.S. Ship that was intentionally sunk by the government so that it could be a fun diving location. It’s home to hundreds of fish and is quite dramatic.
Aicube: What about restaurants in the Cayman Islands? Do you have any suggestions?
The Perfect Vacation Source: We do indeed. We urge visitors to the islands to eat locally.
Aicube: Do your members tend toward any local favorites?
The Perfect Vacation Source: Some of the local favorites are oxtail and beans, curried shrimp and jerk spiced chicken.
Aicube: Before we wrap things up, is there anything else you would like to recommend for our readers?
The Perfect Vacation Source: We urge people to take a night kayaking tour. It’s a majestic display of the bioluminescence off of Rum Point.
Aicube: Thank you so much for joining us.
The Perfect Vacation Source: You are more than welcome.
